Razia was no doubt amazed to have found any point of agreement with me.

Passepartout's journal

Razia is a character in 80 Days. She is described as half-Arab and is travelling in Quelimane.

Background[edit | edit source]

Razia is travelling with a companion, a girl named Reshmi. The two appear to be in a romantic relationship.

Role[edit | edit source]

Passepartout meets Reshmi and Razia in Quelimane. He can flatter Reshmi, to Razia's distaste, and the pair will tell him about Emperor Cetshwayo. Reshmi will insist he is a sorcerer, which Razia dismisses. After their brief conversation, Passepartout takes his leave.

Character[edit | edit source]

Razia is wary, hardy and standoffish, a contrast to Reshmi's bubbliness. She has a soft spot for Reshmi and is protective of her, nicknaming her 'Reshie'.
