New Items Page (WIP)

Items are any of the various goods that can be purchased or acquired on your travels in 80 Days. Different types of items have different effects on the game. The types of items include:

Trading Items: can be acquired, bought, and sold at different locations
- Generic Trading Items: can be sold for a moderate profit in many cities
- Unique Trading Items: can be sold for an immense profit in one city
- Special Items: have a unique story function
Travel Items: mitigates health loss and/or lowers bribe prices on journeys
Conversation Items: helps maintain conversations
Timetables: unlocks travel routes

These categories are not mutually exclusive. For example, Tobacco is both a Generic Trading Item and a Conversation Item. Most Special Items are also Unique or Generic Trading Items.

Items must be placed in suitcases. Each suitcase contains 8 spaces: two rows of 4 spaces. Items come in sizes 1, 2, and 4. Size 1 takes one space. Size 2 takes two spaces horizontally. Size 4 takes four spaces horizontally.
