The Mi'kmaq Trading Car is a Bozek car driven by Mi'kmaq traders that goes from Ottawa to Quebec City. The traders speak very little French, and since Passepartout speaks no Algonquin whatsoever any conversation during the trip is made in the form of broad statements and charades. Before arriving in Quebec City one of the traders offers Passepartout some pemmican; dried meat and fruit, boiled down and pounded together. Both him and Phileas Fogg discover that it does wonders for keeping out the cold.
