Machu Picchu is a mountain holding the remnants of a former Incan city.

Passepartout and Fogg travel to Machu Picchu via secret passage located on Pitcairn Island by using the projector in the cave.
If the Monsieur Quispe's Private Gyrocopter route from Lima to Tabatinga is taken, Passepartout, Fogg and M. Quispe stop by at Machu Picchu to take photos of its scenery and beauty. But the option to sleep at Machu Picchu is not possible if this route is taken.
But if Passepartout and Fogg came from the secret Incan underground tunnel from Pitcairn Island, they will find themselves in the ruins of Machu Picchu. They will encounter M. Quispe who can take them to either Lima or Tabatinga.
