Communist Manifesto is a trading item in 80 Days obtained in St. Petersburg from a rioting peasant woman. If Passepartout brings the manifesto to Moscow and elects to not explore the Russian capital, a member of the Czar's secret police will find it. Passepartout may be landed in jail for one day, but evasion is easy: simply claim that you have enemies that might want to sabotage the expedition.
Should you still have it returning to the Reform Club, it is one of the items that the club butler will put over the bar (if he doesn't like one of your other possessions better).
