Catalina Barraza is a character in 80 Days. She is a Mexican woman on the run who tries to make ends meet as a bandit.

Background[edit | edit source]

Barraza is from San Miguel. She ran away from the working conditions in the factory where she was employed.

Role[edit | edit source]

Barraza tries to intercept Passepartout and Phileas Fogg's automaton carriage en route to Acapulco. Failing that, she may join them in their carriage instead and discuss her history.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • When Passepartout is told about her being from San Miguel, he is surprised to remember that there are places not on his map, saying he thinks of the gaps between ports as blank space. This is a joke about the game's system, in which the gaps are indeed blank space.
